Larnaca and Limassol

Fantastic city locations and amazing beaches
Two cities located approximately 50 miles apart. Bustling city lifestyles with miles of sandy beaches and amazing scenery.
Local Attractions
Larnaca is a busy port city with many local attractions. These include the historic sites of the Medieval Castle, 9th-century Church of Saint Lazarus and the Kamares Aqueduct. There is a buzzing Old Town with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
Larnaca is well known for its beaches and the buoyant nightlife around the waterfronts at the Mackenzie and Finikoudes beaches. Not far from Larnaca is the well known resort of Aiya Napa. This is a hub of tourist activity in the summer months along with the area around Protaras.
Limassol is the second city of Cyprus and benefits from a growing economy, especially in the tech sector. Limassol has a long beach front promenade with bars and restaurants and a charming Old Town. The newly developed marina offers cosmopolitan living with high end accommodation and a busy nightlife. There are plans to build a new golf course in the area, however two of the courses near Paphos are only 30 minutes away.

Living in Larnaca and Limassol
Larnaca has the main airport on Cyprus and is therefore a tourist hub for many months of the year. The winter months however are significantly quieter and the locals benefit from the more sedate lifestyle. Limassol is a busy city, offers greater work opportunities than other places (apart from Nicosia). In recent years, there has been a lot of development resulting in many modern high rise buildings.
Both areas benefit from a number of International Schools, all of which offer primary and secondary education. Most of the schools in the area cover the UK or American curriculum but also include Cypriot qualifications. Accommodation is plentiful in both areas with prices increasing significantly in recent years. Renting (especially in the city centre areas) has become quite expensive and also highly sought after, however, there is still a good stock of properties available to rent.
Both areas are served by a mix of large retail outlets (there are shopping malls) and also local stores.
